El Carnaval in Cadiz

El Carnaval is a celebration in Spain that happens right before the start of lent. The biggest Carnaval celebrations in Spain happen on the island of Tenerife and a southern city called Cadiz. People dress up in droves, often wearing costumes that reflect the past years events. There are street shows along the street where Carnaval performers sing songs and celebrate before lent begins. We took a Saturday day trip to Cadiz during Carnaval to see what it was all about.
